Change starts with awareness — and grows with the right support.

INDIVIDUAL

  • You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.

Using a blend of evidence-based and somatic approaches, we’ll work with your whole system — mind, body, and nervous system — to create more calm, clarity, and connection in your everyday life. Whether you're navigating relationships, stress, identity shifts, or just longing to feel more like yourself, this is a space to feel supported, seen, and steadily move toward change.

When life feels overwhelming or anxiety creeps in, it can be hard to feel steady or connected — to yourself and others. You might not always know what you need, but you know something needs to change.

    Together, we’ll explore:

What’s really happening beneath the surface of your stress and overwhelm

How your patterns of relating to yourself and others might be influencing how you feel

Practical and gentle ways to bring calm and clarity to your mind and body

Building more ease in your relationships — starting with the one you have with yourself

Creating space for deeper connection, calm, and confidence in daily life

This is a compassionate place to understand, heal, and grow — even if you don’t have all the answers yet.

ADOLESCENTS/TEENS

  • Counselling offers a supportive space for children & teens to explore what they’re feeling, make sense of their inner world, and build tools to navigate life with more confidence and clarity. Whether it’s anxiety, low mood, big emotions, friendship struggles, family stress, or simply needing someone to talk to — I meet them where they are, without judgment. A safe space without worrying they’ll upset someone.

I support adolescents to feel more grounded in themselves, better understood by others, and more equipped to handle the ups and downs of this season of life. Sessions are paced with care, always focused on building trust, safety, and connection.

Growing up can feel confusing and overwhelming. From dealing with stress at school, friendship ups and downs, or big emotions that seem hard to control. Sometimes, it’s hard to feel like you truly fit in or understand yourself.

    Together, we’ll work on:

Understanding and managing emotions so they don’t take over

Building confidence and self-awareness to help you navigate life’s challenges

Improving communication and relationships with family and friends

Finding steady ways to cope with anxiety, overwhelm, or feelings of being “too much”

Exploring who you are beneath the noise and pressures around you

This is a safe space to be yourself, ask questions, and discover tools that help you feel calmer and more connected.

PARENTING

  • Counselling offers a space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what’s really going on — both for your child, and for you. Together, we explore your child’s nervous system, developmental needs, and emotional world, alongside your own patterns, responses, and hopes as a parent.

Whether you're raising a sensitive or strong-willed child, navigating school anxiety, sibling dynamics, or feeling stretched thin — our work together helps you parent with more confidence, connection, and calm. You don’t have to do it alone.

I work with parents who want to:

Understand their own feelings and reactions in the parenting journey

Build patience, calm, and confidence in handling challenging moments

Strengthen their connection with their child, even during difficult times

Navigate parenting a child with big emotions, anxiety, or behavioural challenges

Find balance and self-care amidst the demands of family life

Together, we create a compassionate space for you to feel supported, heard, and equipped to parent from a place of calm and clarity.

ANXIETY/OVERWHELM

  • Counselling provides a calm, supportive space to slow down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we’ll explore how your nervous system responds to stress, uncover patterns that fuel anxiety, and develop practical tools to help you feel more grounded and in control.

With gentle guidance and evidence-based approaches, you’ll learn to navigate life’s pressures with greater ease, build resilience, and reconnect with a sense of calm and balance that lasts.

Anxiety and overwhelm can make even simple tasks feel heavy and exhausting. You might find yourself caught in cycles of worry, restlessness, or feeling “on edge” — unsure how to find relief or calm.

    I support you to:

Understand what’s fueling your anxiety beneath the surface

Recognise how your body and mind respond to stress

Develop gentle tools to soothe your nervous system and bring calm

Build new ways of relating to yourself that foster patience and self-compassion

Create space for clearer thinking, steadier emotions, and more ease in your daily life

This is a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, heal, and find your own steady ground.

ADHD

  • Whether you’ve been diagnosed or simply suspect ADHD may be part of your experience, this is a space to slow down, get curious, and make sense of your inner world. Together, we explore the patterns, sensitivities, strengths, and challenges that shape your day-to-day — from attention and emotion regulation to overwhelm, organisation, and relationships.

As someone who also lives with ADHD, I bring both professional tools and personal insight. Our work focuses on building self-understanding, reducing shame, and supporting you to create systems, boundaries, and relationships that actually work for your unique brain and body. It's not about trying harder — it's about finding a way that fits you.

I’m here to support you in:

Creating a positive relationship with yourself — embracing your unique strengths and challenges

Understanding your patterns, habits, and the impact ADHD has on your emotions and behaviour

Setting clear, healthy boundaries that protect your energy and wellbeing

Improving communication with others in a way that feels authentic and respectful

Finding practical strategies to manage overwhelm and build steadiness in your life

Together, we’ll work with kindness and curiosity to help you live more confidently — on your own terms.

Change is possible — not by fixing who you are, but by understanding what’s shaped you.

In our work together, we’ll gently explore what’s happening in your present — and how your past experiences, patterns, and protective responses may be influencing the way you think, feel, and relate. By bringing awareness to these patterns, we create space for something new — more ease, more clarity, more choice.

Counselling isn’t about fixing — it’s about understanding yourself more deeply. With awareness comes the ability to recognise old patterns, meet them with compassion, and begin to repattern how you respond to the world around you. Over time, this process can reshape not only how you feel — but how you relate, connect, and move through life.

My approach is holistic and collaborative. I draw on evidence-based practices like CBT, ACT, Attachment Theory, and the Circle of Security, blended with somatic tools like Kinesiology to support your nervous system. Together, we’ll work with both mind and body — making sense of what’s beneath the surface, and helping you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Each counselling session is a safe, confidential space where you can be heard without judgment. We’ll work at a pace that feels right for you — whether that means diving into difficult feelings, exploring patterns, or simply taking time to breathe and reflect.

Our sessions blend talk therapy with somatic and mindfulness-based techniques, helping you connect not just with your thoughts, but with your body and nervous system too. You’ll learn tools and strategies to manage stress, build emotional awareness, and shift unhelpful patterns — all tailored to your unique needs and goals.

There’s no “right” way to do therapy — it’s a collaborative process where your voice leads the way, and I’m here to support you every step of the journey. Whether we meet in person or online, the goal is the same: helping you feel steadier, clearer, and more connected to yourself and those around you.

  • That really depends on what brings you here and what you're hoping to shift. Most people begin to feel the benefits within 2–3 sessions — a little more clarity, a little more ease, a sense of being heard in a new way.

Around 6 sessions tends to be the sweet spot for creating meaningful change: understanding patterns, learning practical tools, and building a stronger foundation for moving forward.

Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others value the ongoing space to reflect, grow and stay anchored through life’s changes. There’s no one-size-fits-all — we’ll check in regularly and find what works best for you.

  • It’s common to feel discouraged if therapy hasn’t helped in the past — but every experience is unique, and sometimes it takes finding the right approach or therapist to make a real difference.

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. What didn’t work before might work differently with a fresh perspective, tailored techniques, and a deeper focus on your whole system — mind, body, and nervous system.

Together, we’ll create a safe space to explore what didn’t work before, uncover what you need now, and move toward change that feels meaningful and lasting for you.

Your past experiences don’t define your future possibilities. I’m here to support you in finding a path that truly fits you.

  • Getting started is simple. You can reach out to me by email or phone to have a quick, no-pressure chat about what you’re looking for and whether I might be a good fit to support you.

Alternatively, you can book a session directly through my online booking system, where you can see my available times and choose what works best for you.

Whether you prefer in-person or online sessions, I’ll work with you to create a safe, supportive space from the very first appointment.

If you have any questions or feel unsure, don’t hesitate to get in touch — I’m here to help make the first step as easy and comfortable as possible.

  • After a session, you might feel a mix of things — sometimes a sense of calm or clarity, other times new feelings or thoughts might gently surface. This is completely normal and part of the healing journey as your mind and body begin to process what we’ve worked on together.

You may notice small shifts in how you see yourself or your situation, or feel more aware of patterns that were previously unclear. Sometimes these changes take a little time to settle, so it’s important to be kind and patient with yourself.

It’s also okay if you feel a bit tired or emotional after a session — that shows you’re doing important inner work. Taking time for gentle self-care, rest, or simple grounding practices can be really helpful.

If anything comes up between sessions, you’re always welcome to make notes or reach out if you need extra support. Healing is a gentle process, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

    • Individual Counselling (60 minutes): $170

    • Adolescent Counselling (45 minutes): $135

Sessions are held either in-person or online, depending on what suits you best. For many adolescents and younger teens, 45 minutes tends to be a comfortable and effective session length.

If you have any questions about which session type is right for you or your child, feel free to get in touch. I'm happy to help you find the right fit.

Please note: I do not currently offer Medicare or Health fund rebates. If cost is a concern, reach out to discuss availability for sliding scale options.
